Sizes and Shapes of Breast Implants

While undergoing breast augmentation, besides deciding between saline versus silicone implants, you also need to make a decision as to what cup size you want your new breasts to be. The breast implants’ sizes are not measured as cup sizes, but in cubic centimeters (cc). The measurement based on volume yields more precise breast implant sizes.

Often, women are concerned that opting for a much larger size will make the change too obvious. So, Dr. Davidson may recommend these patients to not consider increasing the size of their bust by more than one or two cup sizes. Another choice to be made is the shape of the implant. Both round and teardrop shaped implants are available.

Dr. Davidson will recommend the best size and shape of implant during your consultation based on your individual body type, as well as your goals and expectations.
